What this site collects, what it does not, and what stays in your browser.

What this site collects

The calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us and are not stored on a server.

We keep aggregate traffic counts — which pages were viewed, from which country, on what kind of device. We do not build profiles and we do not sell data.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage to remember your own preferences, such as the last values in a calculator. Those stay in your browser.

If you follow a link to a broker, that broker sets its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control. Read theirs before you register.

Your choices

You can clear this site's local storage from your browser at any time without losing access to anything. If you want to ask what we hold about you, write to [email protected].

FAQ

Common questions

What information does Kano Crypto collect from me?

The site collects what you choose to send through the contact form, such as your message and the address you reply from, plus basic technical data that any website receives when a browser loads a page. We do not ask for your broker login, your card number or your bank details, and you should never send those to the desk.

Do you store my naira bank transfer or card details?

No. The desk does not process payments, so it never sees your local NGN bank transfer records, your Visa or Mastercard debit card number or your e-payment details. Any funding you do happens at the broker, and that broker's own privacy policy governs the data you give it, not this site's.

Do you use cookies or tracking on the site?

The site may use cookies and similar technical tools to keep pages working and to understand which content is read, and the exact set depends on the services switched on at the time. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then behave differently. We do not sell personal data.

Is my message to the desk kept private?

Messages are read by the editorial team for the purpose you sent them, such as a correction or a privacy request, and are not published with your details attached. We do not share your message with brokers or advertisers. Keep in mind that email and web forms are not perfectly secure channels.

How do I ask for my data to be removed?

Send a removal request through the contact form and say what you want deleted, such as a previous message and the address it came from. We act on requests that concern data we actually hold, and we will tell you if we hold nothing that matches. Data held by your broker must be requested from that broker.
